Anywhere up North you can get food fried if you take it in, at least where I am from you can. I have had a battered mars bar before and it was disgusting! I dont understand why anyone would want to eat chocolate coated in oil and batter, it just isnt the right mix.

Give me battered sausage and a spam fritter anyday though :D

I've had a deep fried Twinkie before. I did throw up a half hour later though. Not the best thing I've ever had.

But.....There's worse things for you than deep fried Twinkies and such. In Texas, there's some crazy carnival thing, and on their top ten list of foods to try was.....*gulp*....deep fried butter. Yes, that's right. You read that right. Deep. Fried. Butter.
