ok so im kind of embarassed. i mean i wash down there but it still smells.
i looked in a book i have on sexuality and stuff and it said it could be gardenerella. im too embarassed to ask the staff to take me to the dr. i know somethings wrong. i got an odour, heavy white dishage(chunky at times) and sometimes it burns. i know i don have a yeast infection because the symptoms are different. any ideas on what this could be(ps: i am not sexually active)
thankyou

Because you've said discharges and odor, my best guess is that it is gardenerella (although my knowledge is quite limited in this area :S) however they could be symptoms of another infection. It is treated with antibiotics which are prescribed to you by your doctor. In my opinion you need to go and see a doctor (even though your embarrased) about this to get the best opinion, i'm sure he or she will have better knowledge on this than me. Good luck :)

Could you not make a doc appointment yourself? Sounds to me like you might need a course of antibiotics to clear it up so a doc appointment is prob necessary.

I know it's embarrassing, you just have to remind yourself that a doctor isn't going to think anything about it because they see things like that all the time, and worse. But it sounds like you definitely do need to go to a doctor about that. If you can't make a doctor's appointment yourself you could just tell whoever takes you that you have a cold or stomach problems or something, or just tell them it's a personal issue. They don't have to know what you're really going for if you don't want them to.
