Pain under jaw.

I woke up today and I have this really bad pain under the left side of my bottom jaw. This has never happened to me before, but I'm not worried. It feels like a stabbing, but a very light stabbing. Does anyone know what this might be? I'm guessing it could be my Adam's Apple, but I'm not sure.

No, I sleep on my back, so nothing would have happened. I hit it last week when I bent down to get something. Might be coming back to haunt me then.
