It's not really safe, and she can get in trouble for distributing child pornography if the police get involved. Like, if the other person is a pedo and they get busted, they'll find the pics and can trace them back to her. Even though she is a minor herself, it's still child porn and she can be in trouble for it.

It's also not good because it can be very easy to find out where she lives/goes to school depending on how careful she is about revealing that info online. Then whoever this mystery internet person is can potentially try to meet up with her. It's the worst case scenario, but it does happen.

Even sending nude pics to a boyfriend/girlfriend can be risky, if they get into the wrong hands. Sending them to total strangers is just kind of stupid, though, for the reasons mentioned above.

NO, tell them to stop. Even if you DO know the person you are sending the pictures to, it's illegal. You could get arrest for child pornography and so could they. Tell you friends to stop and tell them of the implications. If someone you don't know asks you for naked pictures, don't reply to them and block them.

It's not a good thing tbh with you.
Take it from someone who knows.
But, until they accept that, there is nothing you can do to stop them from sending these pictures.

Convictions for distributing child porn in these situations is a misapplication of the law, IMO. Laws regarding child pornography are meant to be applied to cases where adults force or coerce under 18's to pose for photos or be filmed - not cases where under 18's take photos of themselves voluntarily.

I kinda agree on that but if I was a mom I wouldnt want my 13 year old kid giving away nude pictures just because its legal. And although something is illegal it doesnt stop people from doing it but I think it decreases it from happening because of the consequences.

Anyways, its illegal and unsafe. Sending them to someone you dont know if probably even more risky. You cant make them stop but maybe tell them you dont support it and you think they should stop. also tell them it's illegal. It might not make them stop but at least they know the consequences if they are caught. Using the word "caught" should be a clue as to whether this is a bad situation or not.

Hell, I know first hand that it is a degrading and very negative thing to do.

I'm simply pointing out that laws on the distribution of child pornography are there to protect children and young people, rather than criminalise them.
And if my daughter or son was doing that, the last thing I'd want to see is them being imprisoned for it.
