I have a problem... I can't last for long!
I'm about to do more than 35 push-ups but once I reach the 35th I just fall down and can't do anymore... my arms aren't strong enough to do more than 35. I'm normally strong. I can benchpress 130lbs and I do dumbell curls for biceps with 30lbs, but I can't last for long.

There's just one thing... We're having push-up test at PE class... we're about to train for a month and then do as many push-ups as we can. When I heard others to say they do about 50-100 I was embarassed. I work out to be strong and fit but I don't seem to get stronger and to last longer.

I decided to do 4 sets of 30 push-ups every day. Hope it helps.

good luck.

If you want a chalenge try tiger pushups. (basically hand stand with feet against wall to stop you falling over and push.)

Do 10 and feel proud lol

You're on the right track. Doing more push-ups will help you get better at them.

Push-ups require more than just arm strength, they also take some core strength to hold your body up in that position. This could be part of the problem (and improving your core strength is a great way to improve your posture, besides! xP). A good way to work on that is called the "plank" exercise. Basically, you get in a push-up position but resting on your elbows instead of your hands. Keep your back straight, and just hold that position for 30-60 seconds per rep (depending on how hard it is for you).

Only way to be able to do more push-ups is to do push-ups.

When I was 14 I could not even do 2. Now I can go on for about 50. I started with "girl pushups" (on your knees rather than on the tip of your toes) and went up from there.

Actually not really. Try shrimps, reverse shrimps, sit-ups...along with push-ups, of course.

The more you do it, the more you'll be able to do
