As long as your rep isn't that bad, people will treat you OK no matter what you've done to someone else... just be sneaky about being a horrible person, yah? :p

If any of you fools actually knew the first thing about hinduism or buddhism, you'd know that karma doesn't result in anything good or bad happening to you in this life. You could be a total scumbag and live a great life. Things you do in this life, your karma, affects how you will live in the next life.
In that definition, no, I do not believe in karma. Do I believe what goes around comes around? Yes. So, my vote's off to 'kinda'.

Yes, and if your teacher graded you otherwise, they're a dolt.
so please tell, what does it mean?
You know, if you read the next two sentences on my last post you'd not have to ask this.

No.
I completely don't believe that karma exists.

I sure don't. Some people get handed a horrible life with absolutely no advantages, while other people live a rich life with everything handed to them, regardless of whether you're a "good" or "bad" person, whatever that means.

I believe that if you punch someone in the face, your likely to get your ass kicked.
I believe that if you rob a bank, your likely to go to jail.
Do I believe that there is a natural metaphysical force at work bringing balance to the Universe?
I'd have to say no. It's absolutely essential to note though that "My Name is Earl" is a fantastic show.

As far as I can see from my life, I went through enough hell as a kid to be nearly divine at whatever I do.
I'm gonna say yes.

To me karma involves the belief in the afterlife or next life or whatever you want to call it. Since I don't believe in that, then that part becomes a no. However, when it comes to "what goes around comes around", then yes, I do believe in that. If you do something regardless of what it is, whether it's a crime or helping an old lady across the street or sitting around twirling your thumbs, there will be some consequence. Sometimes it's seen as "payback" where someone exacts revenge on you. Hence, I vote no for karma.
On a side-note, you spelled "believe" incorrectly in the title of the poll.

Karma? No. It's not what I believe.
What goes around comes around? No. You can easily do terrible things in life and get away with them with no problem.

Karma is bullshit.
Most people here who believe in the "goes around, comes around" type of karma are just referring to regular cause - effect.
If I cut my finger, I will bleed. If I get caught committing a felon, I will go to jail. If I help an old lady across the street, then my relations with her will increase.
Nothing more, nothing less. Helping that lady doesn't mean that somewhere in the far/near future something good is going to happen to me because I sent some sort of chain reaction of wonderful vibes around the universe.

Karma does not exist. I understand that if you piss people off, prepare to be pissed off, and if you are civil to people, they are probably (unless they have problems) going to be civil back, but that really isn't karma. You don't get some mystical good or bad luck out of context if you've been good or bad.

So you believed in karma prior to this year. What exactly happened this year that made you change your beliefs?
Karma = kinda.
Great debate, what's your reasoning to your conclusion?

I think some people need to distinguish between Karma and action/reaction. A simple definition taken from google of what Karma is:
(Hinduism and Buddhism) the effects of a person's actions that determine his destiny in his next incarnation
