Recently discovered by a Vatican Scholar, he claims that he has found the official Birth Certificate of Jesus Christ himself. Do you believe him? I suggest reading the article before any debating or commenting: http://www.cathnews.com/article.aspx?aeid=17889

Faith should not be based on physical things but rather on the message it teaches. It is believing before witnessing.
Also, it was the death certificate that was found, not the birth certificate.

I think faith she be based on physical things otherwise the message taught could be anything... good/bad/watev else. When I see something, it's real to me.
I don't believe the article is true, but maybe that's wrong. Maybe a creationist can say science is wrong in the same way that I say I don't think the article is true.

It doesn't take much faith to believe in turtles if you are holding, in your hands, a turtle. Do you realize how this is a dumb preposition? You're ignoring what faith is altogether.

^ agreed.
i'm just saying...many people have apparently found the tomb of Jesus, or the nails they used, or bits of wood from the cross...none of them have been proven real to my knowledge, i see no reason why this instance should be believed any more than all the other claims, although this may be because of my immense tiredness...

Just a comment. Were these people Scholars of the Vatican? Have they been studying a certain article of cloth or wood for many years?
