Well theres alot......... need to learn chords, scales, fingerpicking, sweep picking(mostly for craizer stuff..... leave till you get REALLY good), different strumming patterns, palm muting and harmonizations. There is prob more but this is all i can remember

It's hard just to tell how to play guitar. One thing I can tell for sure is lots of practice. I play electric guitar. I play minimum a hour a day and I can rehearse for hours before shows. If you want to start, check some videos of people playing. Try to catch how are they strumming, just look up basic motions. Then start learning chords and stuff like that. You can also try to play songs, check for tabs at ultimate-guitar.com. Getting a teacher will also help greatly, especially for beginning, after you get the basics you can practice yourself, lessons are always useful though. Hope that helps.

i play the guitar. it takes alot of practise and dedication. its abit hard to, ive been playing for a few months and im still not that good at it, but i can read music and i can play some songs :)

Get a method book. They generally have instructions you can understand.
