What do you think kids should learn and when (age as school grade varies between countries).

My beliefs:

8:babies don't come from the pelican
9: where babies actually come from
10: how it happens
11: a bit more detail and what to expect from puberty
13: more details on sex, what you shouldn't be ashamed of
14:Masturbation, use protection, etc.

I think they should learn the basic concept around the age of 11.

As do most people, it would seem

I was seven when i learned it. But I did have a brother born less than a month after i turned 8...

11 is way too late. By then, they've already picked up shit/misinformation from their friends/tv/interwebs.
Nine maybe? It's not like teaching kids this stuff is going to make them do it.

I would change the first two to 9 and 10.
At 11-12, I would say teach about the sexual anatomy and puberty and possibly masturbation (I really don't see why that's latest on your list).
At 13, I'd say teach more detail of puberty and sex and pregnancy.
At 14-15, I'd say teach more about sex, sexuality, protection, STDs, relationships, pregnancy, etc.

Are you living under a rock?

Too many people my age are fucking way too young (like, the fact that I'm 15 and haven't been with 3+ guys is odd), why the heck would you not want them to not know about stds.
A girl in my grade had a baby before the school year was over.

Ignorance about this stuff isn't gonna stop anyone

I disagree with 8 and 9; they have to occur at the same time. If you tell a kid that "babies don't come from the pelican" then the first question they ask is "where, then?"

I voted 7 but I think if a kid asks earlier than that, then tell them. That's when I learned, and I dn;t think a kid that young really fully understands. I just wish I had kept gwtting info as I went through puberty though; There were alot of things I wwas confused and had the wrong idea about for a while. I hope that when i have kids that I can be fully open about these things with them, unlike my parents were :/ lol. anyway

I think that they should be told, in-depth, about sex and relationships at 8..
I mean everything..
Because at that age they are starting to be interested/told by friends, so get 'em before their friends do.
