Dustin, I know you want constructive feedback, but thats kind of difficult.

So first up, if you have taken that black and white image and added the colour then very well done, its a brilliant job. But I can't quite work out the point of it. Why not take the image in colour to start with?

To be perfectly honest, it looks like you took the image in colour and then photoshopped it into B&W. Now if that's not true you can take that as the ultimate compliment. Any chance of a link to an image where we can see its exif?

Practice. That's why.

Although there are much easier ways to make a certain portion of an image color.

it was taken at the lake over the summer, i used my step sisters Nikon to take it. We took it in BW so she could have some , more professional type pics, and then i found it on her Myspace, so i used photoshop to add color.

I would give you a link, but she keeps her MS private.

If you really dont believe me, then give me a link to a BW pic, tell me what colors i should change, and ill do it.]

Just to show you, i just took 2 pics of myself, first in color so you can see original colors, second in BW, so here you can see the changes,

Well, it is kinda hard not to.

Also. I don't see why you edit your eyes. They're a pretty green.

I do see the point of the original edit; to exhibit photoshop skills.

Recolouring a B&W shot decently isn't that easy, it does take some skill.

@ OP, I think that there needs to be some more variation of the skin tones across her body. Apart from that, good edit dude :)

Actually, I find green to be...exotic.

It's a rare thing to have, so I would definitely embrace it.

You'd go far in life and on this forum if you didn't lash out at every piece of criticism.

Rep + for a true statement.

The shops are good, but you do need to stay a little less focused on the eyes. Even though they are a good focal point for close ups, that doesn't mean they are good points for other pictures. Other than this, they are all very nice.

There's a difference between being a focal point and taking away from the rest of the picture. The eyes are so intense they look wrong and they ruin the overall look and feel of the photo as a complete piece. If you want them to be that intense, I'd say crop the picture down so that it was just the eyes. But even then I think you'd need to up the contrast of the skin around them to make that coloring appropriate.

Hmm ok thanks, the hardest part for me is skin tone, and looking back, the eyes are to intense

ill take this into consideration on future projects :D

I like the puppy!! :)

On your original post, I actually preferred the first photo because I felt it looked more professional. On the edited photo, I liked the way the green shirt turned out but IMO the blue shorts liked kind of fake and cartoon-ish, or maybe that's just me.
