im finally accepting help for my depression
im going in to my doctor next weak
and im going into a teen and parent center to help for my depression
I don't know what im gonna do about the cutting but i guess accepting help is a step forward

Bare in mind that you're making a huge positive step by getting help. I know the feeling, you think you can do it on your own and you don't often realise how quite bad things have gotten until people around you can reflect on it all and tell you. That's happened to me twice now, I wasn't the one calling the doctor. I wish you all the best, I hope it helps you out man. Keep fighting, you've made a good step forward by just getting help already so remember that.

It's a huge step forward. I was largely against it when my parents wanted me to start seeing a shrink, but I'm glad they pushed me into it. Don't expect miracals though...

ok well i went to the doctor today and a teen help place for depressed teens
the doctor told me i have bipolar and anxiety disorder woooooohoooooo(not)
anyways
im gonna be going in once a week to talk bout my problems yay(not)
and i might get put on meds for the bipolar and anxiety
and im going on sleeping pills
anyways just thought id post it

Like Overcome has said, this is a huge step forward. Although you're not exactly enthusiastic about the journey about to unfold (hey, I don't blame ya. It ain't easy), give yourself a pat on the back just for taking a step in the first place. As my yoga teacher says, "The hardest part is showing up." It's true with lots of things in life. The hardest part of depression, is just admitting you have it, and seeking help. Keep us posted! ((hugs))
