No. Some programs require the adware they came with in order to work. If you remove its adware component (which Spybot - S&D can do), the program you want to use may not be able to function. Click "OK" to use Spybot - Search & Destroy.

Very well put; couldn't have said it better myself! :D

... Well, maybe I could if I was paid enormous amounts of money, given lackeys to work under me and do as I wish, and was left to research long and interesting words for about 3 months, 2 weeks, and an hour.

Anyway... If you don't want to receive that message every time, just do as the check box says and check it. If you use Spybot S&D often, you might want to check out my sticky in this forum about computer maintenance - shows a lot about Spybot and all sorts of jazz :)

k, ya the the thing is that i don't think that spybot S&D is realy working because even right after i scan and fix the problems I still get popups at a constant pace, and i get the stuipid message boxes that say i have spyware and to click yes to buy their stuipid product.

Why the heck do you click yes?! That only allows companies to hijack your system... Look, read through the sticky - it explains how to get rid of that junk. I'm guessing that you're just scanning for spyware when you should scan for everything, then look at your startups to see if there's a blacklisted (shown in red) startup or just a weird one that doesn't have a description and that has random letters and numbers in the name. Oh, and make sure you update everything before scanning again.
