I think the beauty of any work lies in its capacity to be open for interpretation. I'm not sure why exactly, but I've always felt that there was something more to this song than its shallow appearance.

It is a love song. In romantic relationships, one partner is said to 'belong to the other'. Mutual possession. There is absolutely selfishness involved, the unwillingness to share one's romantic interest with others, the potential for jealousy which has often in the past found violent and destructive outlets. There is blind passion and loss of rationality.

Following the article's stream of thought, I would say that it speaks of the dual nature of romantic love, which has been severely idealized in modern culture.

LMAO this song is NOT about devil worshiping lol it's about the good and bad parts of a relationship it's so funny when people look at songs and see the "evils" of it. I saw the same thing about a Beyonce video and it had me creeped out at first but when you really think about it you realize that it's completely crazy.

I thought it was kind of cool. It definitely made me laugh. The concept seemed interesting, even though I didn't agree with it.
