Reincarnation?

So I and some other friends of mine believe that I have been inhabited by a certain person. I feel honored that he has inhabited my skin, but, though i deny I need any help, he was a very depressed person and killed himself. I do not dislike this but I just feel I have to say something about it. You probably know who he is. Anyway, tell me what you think. If you really wanna know who I (he) is, just ask and I'll tell. I didn't want to just say it the first time.

That's not reincarnation. Reincarnation is when a spirit/soul/mind/whatever you want to call it lives a number of lives in different bodies.
For example, a person dies from TB in 1900 but their soul doesn't die or go to heaven/hell - it is "reborn" as a different person/organism to live again on this earth.

What you are referring to is sometimes thought to be possession.

um no. We believe that this person is me and I am this person. Trust me, I don't think I'm possessed my Kurt Cobain. Yeah, him. We definately believe he was reborn as me. There is too much evidence. So many similarities both in lifestyle, things we have in common with our beliefs, the way my life was chronicalized, there are things he's written in his journals that I have either said or even written in my own journals almost word for word years before I read his journals. I know there are probably a lot of other people out there who think they are him, but I truly think i am the real deal. Well I know. I see pictures of him and pictures he's taken and can almost remember what was happening. I can read about something that happened to him and think, oh I remember that.

That is kind of creepy but in a way awesome. I actually believe them but go more in depth. Give some examples. Not just generic facts. Like show us a picture and tell us what happened there.

Give us some of your journal entries (If you want). This will show us some real evidence.

I got to be honest, I think this is rather silly. For one, how many souls/spirits can there possibly be to account for our drastic rise in population. Also, just because you are very similar to someone, doesn't mean you are them. That's just a quick excuse for people who don't want to acknowledge their own personal strides, flaws, and issues.
And why would you even want to be Kurt Cobain? Be your own person, it's much more admirable.

I also just realized your signature explicitly states you don't believe in a god. So tell me, how can you think that supernatural thing is ridiculous, but this not?

I don't exactly understand why you think it's not a result of natural human variation or the fact that you probably like Cobain. You may indeed have some similarities with him but if we each think about it, we may have similarities with someone else that we know, even down to sharing the same beliefs, style of clothing, friends, etc... . We may share similar developmental histories but that doesn't mean that we're reincarnated forms of that person.

Reincarnation? Sure to hell doesn't sound like it. Firstly, please tell us what evidence for this you have for this because being similar in certain aspects definetlely is not evidence. I know some of my friends are similar to me in certain ways but I don't go round saying let alone believing that I am that person.
