What type of pants are you talking about, like jeans?
I personally sleep naked or in boxers. I couldn't imagine anything more would be very comfortable, but its all a matter of opinion. Having an erection restrained can be very uncomfortable; one of the reason I wear what I do.

Well what I do is I sleep in boxers so there is usually a button I can unbutton easy way to wake up

ive personally never heard of sleeping in jeans... but anyways unless you live in like Novascotia you should try boxers or underpants much much much more comfortable.

Easy solution: don't wear jeans or pants that have restrictive buttons to bed.
Go with boxers, briefs, boxer briefs, pajama pants, pajama shorts, etc, etc or just plain nude.

the only time i sleep in jeans is if i pass out on the couch or at my friends couch then i just take em off if i wake up... try sleeping naked (i do) or in boxers (when im at friends).. it helps
