I've been cutting for a couple of years now. I don't have any intentions of stopping at the moment, infact I feel the need to do it more than ever at the moment. I know I need to stop eventually, but at the moment I don't think I have the strength to stop. I know I deserve every cut I give myself.
How can I hide the cuts on my wrists? My mum won't let me wear wristbands or longsleeved tops. Help me? Please? xox

How about telling your mum, that way you can get some help. One day, she's going to see, or find something that suggests your cutting. I know what you mean about having no intentions of stopping, but that still doesn't mean you can't get some help ..

Why is she not permitting you to wear long sleeves? That in itself sounds pretty ridiculous to me, especially in this approaching winter weather. Also, if this rule has been around for a while, then how have you managed to hide it in the past?

Agree with post above. Long sleeved tops are most successful but what about wearing jumpers/cardigons xox

No one deserves to be hurt (by themselves or others) and with the right support system, everyone can beat this.
how have you hidden your scars before then ?
That's exactly what I'm thinking...

if your scars have healed over, you can put some liquid foundation over them. I'm wondering the same as everyone else, how'd you hide them before? and why won't your mom let you wear long sleeves?

I used to hide them with long sleeves, but I haven't done it on my forearms for quite some time now. It's literally only today that i've started on my arms again, but my mum won't let me wear long sleeves anymore because she's constantly worried about me cutting myself again. To be honest she just doesn't trust me at all anymore. I don't blame her, I don't even trust myself anymore.

Then isn't it obvious? If you must do it, do it on parts of your body that you can hide.

Well, you can again wear long tops, sweaters, hoddies. Really tell your mum, she obviously cant trust you for a reason tell her. You can move your arms in a Different way when comes, like more your arm around. (if you get what im saying?)
If you put sa\valon on them then the cuts fade quicker. xx

BIG MISTAKE:Don't wear long sleeved shirts or hoodies too much, your parents will get suspicious. Use makeup, like concealer.Possibly just some loose powder.Wrist bands, hair bands. Draw over them? x.x I dunno
