Is that 'cam studio', Camtasia Studio?
Anyway, there's really no way to circumvent the lag when recording video in a game. The recording & encoding process takes up a nice chunk of your CPU & disk bandwidth.
Things that may help is lowering your game resolution, and playing in a window.
Usually that doesn't help, but it has helped for some.
