MOTHER/EarthBound

(NO SPOILERS HAVE BEEN REVEALED SO PLEASE KEEP IT THAT WAY!)The MOTHER series also known as the EarthBound series in the U.S is a collection of turn-based RPGs made by Shigesato Itoi and developed by Nintendo. The series is amazingly popular in Japan, but not known elsewhere very much. There are three games. Mother1, 2, and 3. Mother 2 was the only game of the series to be released outside of Japan and was given the name "EarthBound". It was made for the SNES. Mother 3 was made for the GBA. And Mother 1 was made for the NES. The only sign of the games getting more well known are thanks to the Super Smash Bros. games which have Ness from Mother 2 and Lucas from Mother 3. These games have wonderful stories. Especially Mother 3's. It's one of the most heartrending games I've ever seen.

I reccomend you try these games out, you won't be dissapointed....However the only way to legally get these games is through Ebay. Except... Mother 1 which is Illegal to own. I don't reccomend or promote downloading roms but these seem the only other option to play them.

I've played Earthbound (Mother 2) and loved it. It was a lot of fun to play, I'd definitely recommend it.

but Earthbound is reallly good, and quite addicting ^.^

Heres a hint, when your walking in the place where your about to fight Giygas. Look closely, what does it look like? And when Giygas is in its final form, Looks even closer. What do you see?

Um no. The Giygas "Fetus" is only a legend.
It was named "Mother" after the song John Lennon wrote.

Still, how do you know? Developers always put stuff in games (and movies) that have a secret meaning. Thats probably the real reason, but they added all that as a secret.

I know because Mr. Itoi confirmed it in an interveiw and that him and his workers loved The Beatles. And the "secret" of the alleged "fetus" is just Giygas's sprite being repeated and it gives the appearance to some people.
