Earphones or Headphones?

So which do you prefer while listening to music? Earphones or headphones?

I personally like the feel of earphones, but I also use headphones on the rare occassion.

i use headphones only when i'm listening to music on the comp when others are around. for everything else, its earphones. they are more comfortable and easier to hide when necessary lol.

I got rid of my old in-ear headphones and bought a pair of headphones. The sound qualility of my earphones were great and had nice bass, but the headphones are just in a totally different league.

Earphones; you can find some with decent sound and most importantly the airlines let you wear them longer than headsets i dunno why but when you're taxiing, taking off, descending, landing and taxiing you aren't allowed headsets but you can have ear-buds as long as they're plugged into the jets entertainment system.

I prefer headphones for most things, I wear earphones for my ipod/phone but for all studio and leisure I wear headphones.

Surely it depends on what your doing? :P

If you need something portable, eg. you want to listen to music on your phone/mp3/iPod, and quality doesn't really matter that much then earphones will do. But if your recording something, or doing something else in the studio then Headphones are far better. Depends on what you need.
