Ubuntu anyone?

I have ubuntu on my computer. It is probably my favorite OS i hav used (other than windows 2000 :p) anyways who uses/used ubuntu and what is your opinion on it?

I love it but I cant use it as my daily OS, I cant use Photoshop on it, if I could run Photoshop without needing Wine then I would use it every day.

A tip for anyone wanting to install Ubuntu extremely simply (anyone can use this easily) I suggest for you to try Wubi:

This will allow you to use both XP/Vista/Win7 and choose what OS to boot when starting up your PC.

It only takes around 30-40 mins to download and install and you can remove it very easily if you dont like it.

I have used it. Its pretty good, especially because its free. I put it on my dad's old laptop because Windows XP corrupted. Works pretty well. Its nothing compared to Windows 7 though.

I love it.... but ubuntu stopped shipping free cds to me.. Lol the new release looks madd.. But im stilll an avid WXP user.. XP FTW

i tried it once. the hard drive on that laptop died while installing. its likely coincidence because it was an old 6GB drive, but i havent taken that chance again - dont want to have to buy another HD. since then, I've moved over to Mac for my desktop, and plan to get a macbook pro when I can afford it. Mac FTW, IMHO.
