Shaving! Why should we not be allowed to have something natural growing on our bodies??

(I don't hate this program, I like it for the most part just can not stand some of the rules the take away person's will to freedom of expression.)

We shave and keep our hair groomed cause we have standards are regulations. If you plan on military in future, get used to it.

in JRTOC - the Program follows Military Standards. and quite Frankly, you can not look professional with hair all over yourself, and the military is not about freedom of expression, if you want to express yourself, you wont be doing it in the military.

I didnt understand it at first, back when i was a freshman, but i stuck with it, now, 4 years later, being clean shaven gives a respectable more mature look. and personally, I hate people with facial hair anyway, and its def not because i cant grow my own, I have to shave everyday

I can somewhat understand why they would want you to shave, but really it doesn't gauge your effectiveness so it seems a bit unnecessary to get involved with that. I really think the only rule about hair should be that the hair on your head must be higher than your eye.
