Quick Question

I'm sure this has been asked alot around here, but I really need to know. I just turned 13 a few weeks ago, and haven't hit puberty yet. I've been getting random erections in the showers when I'm around other boys, and even in class...sometimes I even have wierd dreams about them even though I don't want to...does this mean I'm gay? I don't like other people staring at my thing, but when they do I pop an erection anyways...it's wierd...so does it?

Theres a very low likelyhood that ur gay. Can u imagine urself settling down with a man? If u cant then ur straight. Right now, ur probably just curious and need to be educated

NO! You're a teenager, and most teenagers go through a curious phase at some point, which can mean going up to mutual masturbation and, sometimes, oral sex with a member of the same sex, and it does not mean that you're gay! Honestly, only you can answer this question. From what you've said, however, I can certainly say that those things do not make you gay. Teenagers often get erections by mere sexuality itself, and this does not necessarily mean that you are "turned on" by what you see. Dreams are for the most part irrelevant to this problem, also.

1. Puberty-I didn't start puberty until I was like 13 1/2. You're good.
2. Erections- Don't worry. You're straight, most likely. Actually you'll never know if you're straight or not for sure till puberty's done and over.

From what I hear it's normal, and me and my friends have had an experiment before together...I didn't really like it--I was 9 at the time. Now I think that's starting to effect myself now...can experiments effect your future?

Not necessarily. People get erections from birth, they just aren't all that noticable until puberty. I remember having erections in second grade.

I've had erections ever since I can remember (6 yrs old) I just notice them now because I see people talking about them and stuff, and learned about them in health class last year :)
