Is it really bad for you? I've heard it leads to arthritis when you get older. I crack my nuckles every 10-15 minutes and im getting the idea that its a bad habit.
If it is, how can I stop?

its not exactly linked but then again if it feels good now, just take meds when you get it later in life.

It wont do anything except make your knuckles ''expand''.. Ehh best way to draw a picture is that if you keep doing it in around 20 years or so you can't really straighten your fingers

Put some lotion on it, and get a rubiks cube or stress ball. Legos the sound they make when they break apart helps to act like popping knuckles. Im with ya i pop 'em all the time.

Saying that cracking anything leads to arthritis is complete bullshit. I've asked many doctors because I pop just about every joint in my body. It's only nitrogen bubbles popping. Bone doesn't crack or anything idiotic. Just bubbles. And they're harmless. So yeah.

I highly doubt that's from 'cracking' your knuckles. Sounds like you have dry or broken skin, could be from working in construction if you've done anything like that lately or it could be from hitting walls (something teens tend to do LOL) etc.

Well if it hurts then definitely see a doc. But if it doesn't it's up to you I'd say.
