Im not really sure if this is in the right place, feel free to move it if its not.
Im kind of feeling a bit lost and mentally weakened lately. I really need someone to talk to that's going to understand. i tried talking to friends but they either get angry with me for being like this, or just dont bother helping and say things that just makes it worse. I've started to self harm again and im considering going further..things are starting to get difficult everywhere i turn, i just feel like a failure. i dont know what to do any more, and it feels like no one bothers to understand or help.

Feeling lost is understandable, it can be tough to find yourself through these hard times. Not to mention you're growing up and things like hormones come into play. Have you not tried speaking to any family at all? I've had more success speaking to family, but don't underestimate your friends, they care deep down. It just shows you that perhaps right now it's not best to speak to them. On their end, maybe it'd be more considerate of them and certainly live up to the term of being a friend to take time to listen to you, try to understand and offer the best support they can.
Obstacles that occur in our lives that temporarily weaken us mentally really are only temporary, some more than others. Eventually you will learn how to cope, deal with them and overcome them leaving them in the past. Make an effort to connect with any family you'd want to at this time. They must care about you and want to listen to what you have to say.

Speak to your dad, or maybe your mum when she's sober. Give it a try, if it doesn't work, then at least you tried.

I'm always here too if ya need somebody to talk to. I've been there too, where everything seems to be failing, parents/friends are no help, and hurting yourself seems to be the only way out. Trust me, its not. If you need somebody to talk to anything about, dont hesitate to let me know.

A number of people have already replied with an open ear, but I just thought that I would offer the same from myself.
It takes a tremendous amount of courage to ask for help, online or offline, and it is admirable. I know well the experience of being innately unable to communicate with family, as well as finding friends to be lacking in insight and understanding. Successful communication is only truly possible, on that deeper level, when all parties involved have a basic degree of like-mindedness.
Again, my inbox is always open, to yourself, and anyone else out there as well. Hope everything is okay with you. :hug3:
