I just got round to watching those two new shows FF and SGU. What do you guys think of them?
In case you haven't seen them:
FLASHFORWARD
Everyone on Earth blacks out and sees six months into the future, for 2 minutes and 17 seconds. The show's about the aftermath of that (lots of people died while blacked out, people dealing with their premonitions, etc), and an FBI agency trying to get to the bottom of how and why it happened. It has fantastic cliffhangers, by the way: I almost screamed when Suspect Zero first appeared on the security camera!
STARGATE UNIVERSE
The third Stargate TV series. A group of soldiers, scientists, and civilians end up trapped on an Ancient spaceship on the other side of the universe. The ship's power is failing, as is life support, it's litereally falling apart, and they can't steer it home. They can, however, explore planets it passes by via the ship's stargate (a circular device that creates a portal between it and another stagate).
(I loved Stargate Atlantis, but SG1 didn't really interest me)
What are your thoughts/ideas/opinions/theories concerning those two shows?
(FlashForward - Thursday nights on FIVE)
(Stargate Universe - Tuesday nights on Sky 1)
