Your best bet would be to see a doctor, as if you're going to need a shot for it, that's where you'll go anyway.

But, other than that, make sure it's cleaned out well. You don't want to leave it there for a long period of time, so get it checked out immediately.

Well, whether you need to go to the ER or not depends on what you've been bitten by. Some creatures are poisonous and could require immediate medical attention, some are less serious. A LOT of marine creatures live in saltwater, and there's no rule that would cover every single one.

I'd say Rex's advice is pretty good, though. Just make sure if there are any open wounds that they're clean, and when in doubt seek medical attention to be safe.

You need to identify what bit you first. There are different kinds of treatments for the various things that can bite you.

You also may not need to go to the hospital if the bite was simple a flesh wound and no toxins or poisons were injected into the bite.

I highly doubt anyone here on this site can tell you.

You know who can? Doctor.

Any bite by a wild animal can be potentially dangerous. We can't tell whether a bite you have is or not, and as we are not medically certified, can not diagnose you.

Just do what I do and ignore it. Don't even bother cleaning it. If an appendage falls off, then consider doing something about it.

I WIN AT ADVICE. Y/Y?

If you are sure what bit you is harmless then make sure it is clean, cover it with a plaster and let it heal naturally. If you are unsure, it is always better to be safe rather than sorry so go get checked out by a medical professional.

Bristleworm's don't bite. If you touched one then it's "bristles" would have stuck into you, that's it's defence mechanism. There's nothing serious about it, it won't do you any harm. Just soak your finger in a bowl of Vinegar, the Bristles will eventually fall out. Or, you can pick them out yourself individually.
If you have an allergic reaction then you need to go see a Dr, if you do have a reaction it won't do you much harm apart from some swelling and maybe a little bit of pain but still go see a Dr to give you some cream or pills for the pain.
