Ok, so do you have any tattoo and if you dont what would you like to put on your body? I have something nice (indian letters) on my left whrist and i LOVE it... its intimate and sexy and makes me smile each time I look at it. Any suggestions for my second one? ;)

I have a small eighth note on my left breast (a music note near my heart stands for my love of music) and I want a small mean wolf on one side of my stomach and a happy, nice wolf on the upper part of my stomach on the opposite side. Maybe a Jack Skellington head on my ankle too. I like the angel wings but I see too many people with them and although my ideas arent original they arent as common. Im definitley getting the words "Even Falling Stars Shine Bright" on the back of my shoulder though. Wow. I'll be covered in tattoos. =P

Unless you have been given a Chinese name by a Chinese person, don't even attempt this.

There are no "Chinese letters". The set of characters commonly associated with Chinese spell out words or ideas. It is impossible to transcribe a Western name letter by letter with the Chinese writing system.

A Chinese person will give you a Chinese name by either converting your Western name to phonetically similar characters, making up a new name for you using meaningful ideograms that represent diverse ideals, or a mixture of both.

Get it done without careful research, and at best you will be branded with gibberish. At worst it could be something offensive and every Chinese person you meet is going to laugh at the silly laowai for permanently writing obscenities on his or her body.

For example if I told you your Chinese name was 去肏你（的）妈, you'd better not believe me. That means "go fuck your mom". You'd see yourself with that scarred on you for life?

I still want one. And skin is natural beauty. Something you must take care of, and something you only get once. A canvas, you can throw away and start another. If you get a tatoo it's something you can't just crumple up and erase.

You best make sure it says "courage", and not "penis".

You would also be advised to verify that the character the artist has chosen actually fits the context.

Furthermore, you'd better make sure that the character is drawn correctly, not mirrored or with strokes missing.

I suppose just writing "courage" in English wouldn't be as totally awesome?
