Damn you guys spend alot on clothes. I guess that's a culture difference? When I have $300 I spend it on a phone, or a car part, not a coat. And if I was forced to spend that much on clothes I would stalk the thrift store forever. Now I'm not saying you guys are stupid for spending so much money on clothes, it's just surprising. If I had to guess the most I've spent on one article of clothing it would be something like a jacket at Pacsun. I think it wa son sale for like $40 or something. :P

What I spend on clothes varies alot for example in my wardrobe I have jeans I brought at Primark for £7, Jeans from Superdry at £80 and Diesel Jeans at £165. Generally when buying clothes I just go for what appeals to me and what I think looks good, if I can afford it I will buy it.

Tripp NYC Corset: $60
Old Navy Blue Plaid Wool Coat: Worth $80, paid $40
Freestyle Revolution Jeans: $60
Sometimes I'm willing to pay more because:
a) Better quality
b) It looks heaps better than cheap knock-offs
c) It's something that you can wear for years and it won't be 'out of style'
d) It's a universal piece that you can wear with anything

My shoes cost around $120 usually. I had those Nike bendy prescription glasses, well actually 4 because they kept breaking, and they should have been $700, but my dad works for a company that makes lenses, so I got the lenses free.
I want my high school Letterman jacket, and that is about $230, before I get the Varsity letter, and all the other stuff stitched on.
And I don't understand how you could spend any more than $80-$100 on jeans.... Levis do pretty much the same thing...

Do you realize how conceited you sound? My parents are nice, and the chances of me getting one article of clothing that costs 80 dollars are slim to none.

Possibly my hat? It was 25 dollars. I guess my adidas were like 60...so they probably win. I buy things when they go on sale. I'm a college student...I can't afford to pay much for clothes and stupid shit like that.

Ummm, lets see, are we talking actual clothing? Or like accessories and such as well? For clothing, the most I have ever paid myself is.....$24 for a pair of jeans. I can't believe I bought them....they weren't even that great. Plus I lost them after a while anyways. My limit for jeans is $20, never more.
The most that has ever been spent on me, for a gift or something is....$60? for my winter jacket or my Carhartt jacket most likely.
Uh, yeah, let's not go into my purses or anything. I also have some Tiffany's jewelery as well.....but I haven't purchased it myself, it's been gifts from my parents or other family members. I personally couldn't care less about Coach purses and Tiffany's shit, but my grandparents think that I am a total girly girl and want that type of stuff....
I'm personally not a person that cares about labels. I buy stuff that I like, which usually happens to be on sale. When I start out in a store, I go immediately to clearance, and start there.

Can't really think of anything I've bought that's gone too far over the $40 range. I'm into patching up and reusing things from up to three or four years back and I think most of the expensive things that you can buy just turn you into a walking billboard for some clothing label. If I happen to own anything over around $50, well, it was just a nice gift. : P

Geox shoes that keep my feet from stinking. About 120$.
Were they worth it? Oh, yeah. It was a gift from my mom who washes my socks, so she decided to do whatever it took to keep my feet from smelling bad.
Aside from that, max is 40$. No money to spend on fancy clothing when I've got college to pay.

If they are selling thousand dollar jackets for 120 dollars you can be certain its a fake!

The most expensive that I own or that I actually bought? xP
My glasses are probably the most expensive that I've bought. My insurance does cover the lenses every time I get a new prescription, though, and covers new frames every other year so I don't actually pay much at all for those out of my own pocket. Or, well, my parents' pocket, they cover that sort of thing. xP
As far as actual clothing, I bought a vintage dress for maybe 60 bucks a while back. Kinda 50s-ish, I like it. :)
The most expensive that I own, but did not buy, is probably a mink coat of my grandmother's. I'm pretty sure the main fabric is suede, I haven't looked at in a while, and the collar is indeed mink. Given the fact that it's actual fur, and that it's vintage and in great shape, it's probably worth something. Not a ton, but something.

Hm...I'd have to say around 25-30 dollars on a pair of khaki's (I forgot the brand, but yeah..) for school. But other than that...I stick to clearance stuff.
I never regret what I get cos I'm constantly calculating how much I spend when I go shopping. I know, sad, but I save lots of money in the end.

Waist-length black leather jacket with short black fur, about $450 to 500, definitely worth it, it's very warm and amazingly comfortable. Other than that, probably winter jackets which were each around $200-350 for snowboarding mostly. My suit for prom and which gets worn at other special, fancy occasions was together I think $300-400 (pants plus blazer plus shirt).
