Do you know this girl well?
How can you be definitely sure she doesn't have an STD if you decide to eat her out?
Are you prepared for intercourse if the event were to continue on?

you can't get an STI (yes sti is the correct term now, not std) from her giving you a blow job, she can however: Genital herpes(in you) > Oral Herpes(in her mouth) > Genital herpes(spread through her body)

Some of the anwers above a way over the top. Your not going to make someone pregnant from oral sex, you can however catch an STI, but obviously only if the other person has one already. If you're both clean, which you would almost certainly be if you had both had no other sexual partners, then there's no risk.

There are no other physical/medical side effects from oral sex. It feels fantastic and you can certainly give a lot of pleasure to your gf with care and consideration.

Obviously if you did get carried away and it led on to full sex then thats a whole new ball game (pun not intended). It would be best to have a condom handy just in case even if thats not part of the plan.

STDs can be transmitted through oral sex, and you really need to keep that in mind before doing anything sexual with a partner. If you two are virgins, then the risks of STDs are nil, and you are totally fine to do oral sex on each other without much concern. However, if either or both of you have had sex before, then there is always a risk for STDs. There are definitely STDs which can reside in one's throat and mouth, and STDs obviously can be trasmitted from one's genitals to one's mouth. There is no way to really look with the naked eye to ascertain whether one has a STD or not as some STDs do not show symptoms for a while.

Basically, if you have any doubts about STDs, then it is never inappropriate to ask for your partner to have a STD test to be done. However, if you ask your partner to have a STD test done, then you should reciprocate and do the same as relationships are a two way street.
