The poll tells it all who will win the World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees? Will the Phillies repeat or the Yankees win for the first time sense 2003.

I'm picking the Phillies in 6 games.

I'm picking the Phillies on this one, but I think it's going to be a VERY close match. I'd say the full 7 games for this one. We're definitely in for a treat with this World Series.

How so? The Phillies, talent wise, are just as good, if not BETTER than the Yankees. Granted, the Yanks got some good players on their team, but at least known of the Phillies have players that take steroids :lol:

I'm going with the Yankee's on this one. C.C Sabathia starting the first game is a sure victory and probably with Andy Pettit starting at least one more time I believe will give them the advantage over the Phillie's batting. I say Yanks in game 7 though just because the Phillie's haves some talent, and they are defending champs.

Well its over, the Phils are down 3-1 in the series and why? Brad Lidge BLEW THE FUCKING SAVE. He is washed up, done.

The Yankees are the best team money can buy, so I chose them. Plus, they have C.C Sabathia...he=amazing. I'm really not much into baseball though, so I don't know how the teams compare at all, nor could I care less.

Yankees got this one in the bag. After last night's game, it's obvious that the Phillies aren't going to win.

The Phillies won game five 8-6 and now it goes back to New York. Pedro Martinez pitches game sixes against the Yankees Andy Pettite. But they still got to win out.

I'm not sure if they will. It would be great to see a comeback. But I'm feeling really pessimistic for the Phillies right now.

Yeah it's real disappointing but hopefully next year. The phillies do have the NL's best team so they should be back.

I should have made the poll close a little bit earlier because it was 9-4 phillies and then wham after the series ended the poll is 10-9 yankees. lol :D

Also you no what is completely stunning, we get the paper and in the Thursday copy (day after phillies lost) of the Philadelphia Daily News there was not a thing about the world series in there at all.
