They are always ripping on me just because im atheist saying i have no faith that i cant love anyone that i dont care for my mom whos in the hospital and i will never find peace ... and other BS... i hate all this discrimanation against atheists we arent bad ppl just because we dont believe in any gods or religions, we care for ppl too you dont need faith to care for people...
just because im atheist doesnt mean i hate other ppl because they're different, ive never said anything bad about other religions, but now my family hates me for being atheist, what do i do ???

Tell them what you said here, but if they still treat you badly for being atheist, which they probably will, then you just have to deal with it.

Tell them that if they really love you then they will accept your beliefs and respect you for the person you are - after all, their son/brother. Don't ask them this, tell them.
