To answer the OP: It's all your choice. I wouldn't, but then again, I don't shave anything OTHER than my facial hair that much.

There is no right or wrong answer here. I would say the answer entirely depends upon how hairy your armpits are and if you would be willing to periodically shave them. Also, another factor which might influence your decision is whether or not you are on a sports team. Swimmers have been known to shave off all of their body hair, and I have seen folks on basketball and wrestling teams shave their armpit hair. If you are on a team and have a doubt about whether or not do so, then I suppose you can always talk to your coach or trainer.

In short, this is one of those grey areas where you cannot go wrong with either choice, and it doesn't matter what you do as there are merits to either shaving or not.

Not quite. Some girls will, some girls won't. Personally, I've never found that girls have had a problem with armpit hair.

I was thinking the same thing the other day and decided to do it. It looks a lot better and feels a lot better and if you have bad BO you do smell less bad. But the itch is crazy.

a "friend" did it the other day, his pits looked a bit weird the day after (When I saw him lol), and he says it itches as hell, and he wouldn't do it again...

So I would say, not a good idea, you don't want to go all day scratching your armpits lol

It's your body so do what you feel. I shaved them but only to make the hairs appear more noticeable when in the gym changing rooms.... i know it seems silly but I always felt insecure about being a late bloomer etc. ^_^

i shave mines because of sports like basketball. ever since i started shaving i've kept them like that. it's ur choice if u want to. i personal like it. im latino and almost everybody that lives in puerto rico, that includes guys shaves there arm pits and so on.

It is entirely up to you. If you have any sweating problems it is meant to help with it so it should be beneficial in those circumstances.
