Cant Access Account

My friend, with the username "miss.miserable" Hasnt been able to get into her account since making it for an unknown reason. She tried making a new email address, and signing up with that but it then came up with multiple user. Im guessing this is because her ip address is logged already, but we still dont know why she cant access her account. Is there anything she can do to get back into it?

Edit: Nevermind, Its just randomly started working again :S

Did she get an e-mail with a confirmation link? I think that's what you have to do to access your account.
