I used to smoke weed and my older brother got caught with it trying to smuggle it to the town I used to live in and my Mom got so mad that she started to suspect that I was doing it. Well because I am sly (JK) I told her I didn't. Well she started looking through my stuff and look what she found. Well the only thing I heard when I got home was !!!!!!!!!!!!

Well after hearing her yell I was confused and angry. I still did it but I took her advice and after I quit I started to look at the changes in myself. I had more energy and I was starting to lose weight.

So when she talks to you about it take her advice. Don't fight back unless you have something to fight against which obviously you don't if your holding the cigarettes for a friend (unless your lieing and that usually results in terrible consequence.). Cherish your parents advice. And if she over reacts then just let it go. Hope this helps.

If I were you, then I wouldn't try to make the excuse that they are your friend's cigarettes because that is likely to just make her even angrier. I'd just have her give you the yelling and just accept the punishment because she's probably going to be very angry as it is to a point where even if you tell the truth that they aren't yours, it's not going to matter much. Depending on your mother and what happens, it may also lead to you dragging your friend into this, so just accept the punishments that are given and go from there.
