Okay, so I was doing some research on sexuality and I found this forum for catholics and a boy was worried that it was a sin. Someone replied:

thats the church for you man, they in some cases, so backwards and forwards they dont know where they begin and end, and no offense to devout religious people, but any thing that ignorant being scripted is really dumb in my opinion, i do however believe in god but there are millions of people trying to interuprt what his rules, beliefs and sayings are, from mililons of years ago, i dont see it, i stopped going to church because i was tired of going to a place every sunday for someone to tell me WHY i should believe god, i think that people should believe in god for there own reasons, god brings hope to people, god wouldnt have made people like us, if he didnt respect us and grant us passage :D

i totally agree, i have ALWAYS been an open minded person, ever since i started developing my own personality, and not just mimicing things from my parents, and the older people around me, i have somewhat of an "i say whats on my mind, if its appropriate" type attitude, some people like it, some dont, but im me, so ya i totally feel you on close minded people, its aweful how scared and ignorant people are with things they dont understand, its like what the hell man, did we ask to be born like this, but u better DAMN WELL believe i will embrace it

Homosexuality isn't a damn DISORDER! It's a persons personal preference on love. They can't help who/what gender they're attracted to.

Personally, I like gay/bis more than straight people. They seem to have a better understanding on life and what everything is all about.

I really don't like the religious people who treat and look down their noses on others with differing beliefs to themselves. I believe they're just as much in the wrong.

However, being a Christian myself, I don't think homosexuality is particularly right. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's unnatural or a psychological disorder, but I do believe that it's a sin.

I'll respect the choices and decisions made by others, as long as you respect mine. I have nothing against homosexuals themselves, I just don't agree with their ways.

I go to a private Christian school(yeah..Christian..no Catholic), and they have pretty much drilled the fact that if you are homosexual you are going to hell. To me, that is rather ridiculous.

In my opinion, homosexuality is not a natural thing, and is quite wron. I, however, wouldn't go so far to say that the person is mentally disturbed. But, then again I can somewhat understand why the person said what they did.

It has been proven: Homosexuality is not a psychological disease (according to my health teacher) and why would it be a disease? The only likeness is that it happens even when both parents are completely straight, like when a child is born and has cancer when the parents did nothing wrong and don't have cancer.

Homosexuality is complex, but being homosexual should not be a problem anywhere
