I'm horrible at it. I got another program for trial. Anyone want to give me some tips?

The welcome thing, I can't make new scenes and link to them, just need an overall explanation from kiros i guess.

well, try developing buttons first, then work your way up to small animations, and build your skills

Well I don't have the best software, I wasted my time with flash MX because I didn't need it then. So I'm stuck with spinoff software.

well, try getting flash mx with fireworks mx - thats what i got - $999.95 + shipping ...although i didnt pay anything for mine because people like to 'share' if u get what im saying. **I am not advocating that u do as I did; I am simply stating how I got the software. I do not continue to share it as that would be distributing software with a copywrite. Also, remember that anything said on this forum is strictly for entertainment purposes only.**

I have to say that to keep from getting into trouble with the (1) law and (2) Macromedia

:D :D :D :D :D

That coudn't be used against you because theres no way to prove you were the one who said it. stop trying to defend what youve done. theres nothing wrong with stealing software, because it spreads ideas

 nicely put cosmos!

but yeah, piracy is a indeed a crime and there is a way that they can catch me - if they use the records from this site to look up the IP address, then if they figured out that its not my IP but just a masking (not the 255.255.255.0) of my IP by use of a network router (linksys) and a proxy :P

true true. but dont get your hopes up, the government can always trace your ip. NO matter how many encrypted proxies you go through, there is always a record and your real ip can never be hidden

yeah, but thats why i change my IP every day :D also, I switch my DNS server about every week

Yes i know... But heres the thing. You aren't your own isp are you? No, you pay an internet service provider to hook you up to their backbone. They assign you an ip address, with records on that ip address. If the government subpoenas the ip, your toast

Kiros

yes but heres the thing, I am brought isp through charter because I am hooked up to a main hub which has a lot of bandwidth but still limited. once I request data, the hub looks up the address via dsn and transfers the data to me. The only thing that my isp does that they can record personally is when I had an initial request for service (logon to computer and access internet for first time that sessoion) and when any abort/stop requests sent to activate the WOL instead of there being a simple data loss.

look kiros, your computer could be hooked up to a lan at an office building a long with 5 thousand other computers, and they could still trace it to u

not all things are possible cosmos, the government likes to have this all powerful feel, but they cannot do everything. they do not run the internet. furthermore, it would be illegal for them to track anyone to their computer to find out any information other than whats given by an online company database because its invasion of privacy. oh, and no, they DEFINITELY could not track that if its in one office building on one network. The domains, computers, and masks would all be the same. plus, while one computer has something like 68.192.114.1 (base IP and default gateway) another one has 68.192.114.2 (base IP and default gateway) so essentially, because they are all on the same network, the base IPs would be randomized as they are turned on everytime for higher priority reasons. ALSO, the 'government' would have to go through the network address to even get to the router (which would stop the transmission right then) and then have to request data from the computer to get the IP. oh, and heres the real kicker - in an office, there are many computers that can be logged onto with any valid account, so there could be thousands of possiblities of who was on the computer in the building - the office would have to do the inspecting of the computers to find out anything.

get over it...
