My friend is way tooooo gay

Ok, i have nothing against gay people, (im bi myself) but i have a friend, and he tries to hard to be gay.

Im not sure if anyone knows what im talking about, but he like is so into being a veggetarian, and supporting abortion, and just all this stuff. and he constantly has rainbow things and wears pink.

you would have to know him to understand its like hes forcing himself to be gay. its fine to do these things, but its just his personality.

anyone else know anyone like this? like they try to hard?

Well my brother acts homophobic when he is actually gay so for him its denial. Maybe your friend just wants to be more like you but not getting that you don't act that way.

I completely understand what you mean. When I was at my super liberal art high school (where about 95% of the population was gay) there were a TON of freshman who were tricked and confused into being gay. It probably sounds like he is bisexual or curious, but he broadcasts himself to the world as super flamboyant to see if he's comfortable with that persona. It's sort of like trying on clothes. He's trying out sexualities. By seeing what it's like to be really gay, he is seeing whether he is comfortable with it. I'm not saying it isn't possible that he's gay, but from what it sounds like, it seems he is trying way too hard.
