I made the OP titled "was I raped?". I was looking for serious guidance on a serious issue I was having. I want to thank the people who offered that to me sincerly, along with the words of encouragment on the topic of me keeping my baby.

As of now, the man who raped me is in jail. It had come to my knowledge through a mutual associate of ours that he had put GHB, a common date rape drug, into my drinks that night. that was the reason I wasn't feeling good and blacked out. I filed a police report and approximately a week later was notified he had confessed and is in jail.

I am now 5 months pregnant and expecting a baby girl that I am naming Adelynn Sharana, after the base my unit is stationed at in Afghanistan.

What I do feel I need to defend myself is the response of some posters. When I called the morning after pill the abortion pill I meantit. I believe life begins at conception, when sperm meets egg. And yes, if you believe life begins then, then the morning after pill is an abortion. It prevents a fertilized egg from attaching to the uretine wall which then results in the death of the egg. So call me ignorant all you want, but I do know what I am talking about.

I will admit that times it is hard to cope with how my pregnancy came about but all I need to do is look at an ultrasound or feel a playful kick from her to realize that my child may not have been conceived out of love, but she is the greatest love I have yet to know.

I admire you tremendously for this, as perhaps you already know. I'm really glad to hear that that bastard is in prison where he belongs. I hope those people that were determined to knock you in the other thread will stay away, unless they want to admit given the new evidence of the date rape drug, that they were wrong.

Good luck and very best wishes again.

I'm sorry that you had to go through that but the morning after pill is in no way abortion

The morning-after pill will prevent or delay the release of an egg from the ovary if given prior to ovulation, or it will help prevent the egg from traveling down the fallopian tubes and implanting in the uterus if you have already ovulated. The morning-after pill reduces the chance of getting pregnant; it does NOT cause an abortion.

But hopefully you can find a real father for the child. You're a very strong woman for this.

The best of my wishes go to you and your baby. At least justice was served with the man and at least he confessed.

Is your best guy friend going to help you raise the child?

Yes he is. Financially, I do not need help. I make over 2500 monthly. But he will raise Adelynn as her father.

Not meaning to sound rude or nosy, but how do you earn that amount of money?
Also, how old are you really?

You're a Sergeant in the US Army Reserve at 18 years old but are apparently incapable of understanding that the morning after pill doesn't terminate a pregnancy?

This is a warning for any attacks to stop right now and for no more to begin, otherwise an infraction will be given.

Like I had said in my post, I believe life begins at conception. Conception is when the sperm reaches the egg, otherwise known as fertilization. Implantation occurs after fertilization. The morning after pill works by not allowing a fertilized egg to attach itself to the uretine wall. Which is what implantation is. So, if you had any common sense than you would understand that under what I believe, taking the morning after pill would be termintating a pregnancy, aka an abortion.

All you have done on my posts is point fingers and not offered any advice. There is np need for you to comment on any of my posts. You dont help, you dont offer insight, you attack. So please, stay off of my posts.

So please, stay off of my posts. What advice were you looking for? You didn't ask a question or even present a semblance of one. So what were people supposed to say? "Good job, you're not aborting it like I would, now excuse me while I go meet a man with a coat hanger"?

My first post is titled "was i raped?" but because of people arguing on my post it was locked, so i couldnt even post repsonses to it, which is why i made this post.

Because the same person is starting the same stupid shit as she did on my last post.

I wasn't bitching. The same person that was partly responsible for getting my post loxcked before is now talking about the same thing that started the drama on the other post. There is no need for this.

There is no need for this. What you want to call it is irrelevant. My point still stands that you can't bitch (or not bitch) because someone doesn't give you advice when you never asked or even implied that you wanted or needed it.

Also, a person can start something, but it doesn't go anywhere if you don't respond. So don't get into a fight with someone and then blame it all on them.

To the OP, I honestly don't see the point in your thread anymore.
If you make another thread related to this, which is immediately going to cause trouble, then I'll infract you (and anyone else who decides to join in).
