Does your school have a lot of physical fighting? Our school really has! Every recess someone gets beaten up, but not badly. I dont use violence much, but today I knocked the wind out of one retarded kid and that felt awesome, like winning a fight always does.

My opinion is that little fighting isnt bad. Like my friend once said "It cant really hurt, if it doesn´t bleed."

Physical violence is not something you should be proud of. I hope that kid had a realistic chance against you otherwise you're just a coward and a bully. That just sickens me.

You must not be thinking this through. Do you really think bullying is good? If I was a bully, I would feel awful everyday.
And hitting a retarded kid? Wow, here's a cookie. (sarcasm)

mainly chick fights (can't stand the gossip, cause well that is what it leads up to, two girls fighting over jack) (just had one today). oh and the gang fights.

In university, not really. There may be some verbal fights but I haven't heard of many physical fights. There are some physical fights, however, there doesn't seem to be a lot of them. As for bullying, I don't know of much but I assume there is a lot more than what I don't know of seeing as how there are several thousand students.

As for the fight you were involved in I don't see as anything to be proud of. You probably felt good because of the neurochemical changes. I hope that when you say "retarded kid" that it isn't someone with a developmental disorder as that would be an act of cowardice in my view.

Nope, not at my school, well I haven't seen any. But back in Mississippi in Elementary school, holy shit. Some people got their world rocked, lol.

There are pretty rough fights here.
I'm pretty much always the one to hold people back.

Once someone had the nerve to throw a swing at me.

No no, with retarded I dont mean someone with a developmental disorder, I mean a one lame kid who is always acting like a total fuck towards anyone and has no real friends.

We don't have a lot of fights, but when there is, it gets bad.

Theres usually one every second week. Some are nothing, like 2 first years having a rough and tumble. Then the others which are 3rd and 4th years where they can get serious (blood and broken bones)

If the seniors (5th and 6th year) are seen watching/encouraging fights then we can get in trouble for setting a bad example.

thats like my school.
but its quite gang related...
does my head in, and because im not into all this gang stuff, if i hit them, i'll get jumped, mugged and stabbed by all of them outside of school.
So generally try to keep out of fights :yummy:

hmm i never start a fight but i don't hesitate to end it swiftly if i am attacked fighting is not a good think to be proud of it it's alright i live in a safe neighborhood so i dont have to worry about gangs and things but i just think it's morally wrong to attack some one for no reason but self enjoyment but i can't deny the adrenalin thrill of winning a fight i almost with there were more fights at my school i guess it's just a hormone thing

i kid crash tackled me into a wall cause he thought i had stole the girl he liked he took me by surprise but i over powered him and slammed his head against a metal door and he released me about an hour later when every thing had calmed down we talked for a while shook hands and made up it was just a misunderstanding but seriously as much as it feels good you shouldn't do it i felt bad about it for the rest of the month i guess some primitive urge took over me and i over did it we were just lucky no one was injured

In my elementary school they happened at recess and in phy ed every once in a while, but not much. In high school there were a few, but not many. One kid in my class did break two fingers from hitting someone though...lol

In college they happen in the residence halls somewhat often. Generally when people are really drunk of course, which is quite often.

My opinion on fighting isn't really that bad. I would certainly fight someone if they started it. I've always been taught to fight back but nobody has ever started a fight with me, so I haven't had that opportunity yet.

I'd fight with my friends sure, but there wasn't really any fights at my school...every now and again some hot head would shove his friend into someone and that someone would shove him back but, other than that no fights.

No physical fights at my school, but holy shit, there's a lot of douchebags. They laugh whenever someone tries to tell them what to do, and think everyone besides themselves is gay.

What morons.(not you guys, the guys at my school.)

Fighting in proper circumstances such as competition and professionally I love. That goes for mixed martial arts mainly, k-1 and sometimes boxing. Fighting on the street I'm not interested in. The standards of street fights are so poor, I've seen people with no technique or ability win fights and it's laughable to an educated fight fan how these 'tough guys' can't actually fight and have no actual skill.

An example of a heavy handed brawler who has good basic boxing skills but can't cut it in real fighting (atm) is Kimbo Slice. Although I have respect for him, he's branching out and learning new skills to be a well rounded fighter, also training with a top fight team.

When i was in public school there was allot of fights, mainly the group of my friends and some other person who couldn't keep their mouth shut.
In seventh grade i got in a fight, and me and two other guys shoved this kids head down a toilet with shit in it for beating this girl name allison.
I had some bad anger issues, bad thats over.
I almost got in one in 9th.
But no more fights since i'm at a more restricted school

Good lord, the fights around here! Punks and preps going at it, it's just dirty. No one uses weapons at school, but one of my friends got his head smashed into a locker, and the school nurse called an ambulance because she couldn't stop the bleeding. Outside of school, guys will pull knives, and I know several girls who carry mace in their purse in case another girl starts a cat fight.

Biggest fight that I know of in my school was in my grade, one guy got knocked out. Both were suspended for fighting (3 suspensions = expulsion). At my school there is zero tolerance for anything physical, we can't even play proper football cause they're so scared of someone getting hurt -_-

Sure, people bring knives to school sometimes, but it's only to try and look big, no-one would use one.

Where I am, it's always the emotional bullying, hardly anything physical, but then again, I don't exactly know what goes on outside of school.

In some ways I sorta wish it was psychical bullying instead of the emotional stuff...

I cant tell you how many people wanted to beat the crap out of me, and for no reason! I never got into a fight, if you don't consider
punching someone in the face thus knocking them out. Apparently fighting is when you throw alot of punches. Why would i want to waste my energy throwing a bunch of punches when i can knock the kid out with one? Come on people, Its called a sucker punch. Punch em' as hard as you can right in the middle of their face, even if it hurts you arm. Works every time.

I only use physical violence for self defense.
And hitting a retarded kid? Are you for real?

I remember when at school there were a few fights and personally I got involved in one, fighting is not really anything to be proud of and you should only do it in self defence or in a proper environment like boxing, mma etc.

I remember the reasons why fights did break out were usually petty, like someone said something about another person.

In college/univeristy I have never seen any physical fights on campus, only violence I have seen so far, is street fights when people are drunk outside clubs lol. As people get older they mature so sort things out in a more verbal manner I guess.

Well I don't go to school anymore but..

First school: sure physical violence existed... But most of the kids who went to that school were from nice and preppy families so they didn't really know what a real ugly fight looked like.

Last school: Absolute crap... Fights were very often but nothing very serious ever happened on school grounds.. The only 3 fights I can remember right now were 3 years ago.. 1 was with me against a short kid... One with the short kid against a really really big guy from another class, the short kid won.. And one where basically 3-5 guys from my class ganged on some kid from another class... The big kids face got readjusted a little with a black eye, busted lip and some blood gallantly oozing down from his nostrils.. And the kid who got ganged by the 3-5 guys just got bruised since nobody hit his face for obvious reasons..

My share of fighting has mostly been outside of school, except for the first few years of elementary school when I was the one who always threw the first punch/chair. Did I ever hurt anyone bad? Not really a few kids had a busted lip or a little nosebleed but nothing serious.. I did manage to intentionally break a kids nose when I was 5 or 6 lol.

Yeah we've had ten fights in the past two weeks. I've been near three and helped break up a fourth. My school is crap because no one gets along. There are so many set groups that any interference is a direct threat.

Man, all these fights sound so awesome! *grins* I go to a school where nothing - NOTHING! xD - like this ever happens. It's pretty boring. Actually, VERY boring. xD

The most dramatic moment of my high school career would have to be when my English teacher spelled "interpret" incorrectly. xD Okay, exaggerating there - my school DOES have its occasional dramatic moments - but nothing too dramatic. Unfortunately. xD

Interesting! That'd be scary to have fights.

I've never seen or heard of any kid even verbally fighting at my school... other than teenage girl drama.

But there are little scraps with other schools sometimes. Kids at my school are the ones that get beat up :p

Fights? I don't think I even remember how to give a punch or a kick, we used to have fights every break when we were in the fifth or in the sixth grade, but nothing since then, I'm really impressed of my school, we're so lazy that we wouldn't start a fight :)

Its funny how people bring knifes to school to look tough but never in their life would they actually stab somebody
