The sand hit the rocks with a thud
That was not quite loud enough
To reach my porous ears,
To stop my raindrop tears
From trailing down my cheeks...
And when they hit the ground,
My tears they made a sound,
A light splash (that I heard)
And I knew right then,
What I should go and do...
I took my only heart,
My oh so lonely heart,
And with it I traversed the sandy road,
On hot ground and through the treachery
That is the monotony of sand dune walking in bare feet,
With the goal of reaching the,
The girl that I have sought...
For all my life I've waited for the angel
I met down the shore,
But I wasn't sure just where she'd gone
If she'd return or if she was done
Being the one who sparkles and lights up my heart...
So now again by the shore, standing here in the sand,
I take my only heart,
My oh so lonely heart,
And I traverse this sandy road,
On hot ground, I keep on goin',
With the goal of reaching the,

The angel with the sleek brown hair,
The bright white smile that makes me aware
That she's so beautiful I can't help but stare,
I get sucked into her deep hazel eyes and I realize I care...
I care so much about her,
I don't think I can live without her,
I care so damn much about her...
So now again by the shore, standing here in the sand,
I take my only heart,

And I traverse this sandy road,
On hot ground, I keep on goin',

And as I reach what might be the end,
I see the sand, it starts to fade,
I look ahead, I see white light,
And with my hands over my eyes
I discover what I thought I might...
There she stands with her sleek brown hair
Her bright white smile that makes me aware
That she's so beautiful I can't help but stare,
For her I care, for her I care...
But I can tell she's too far away,
She's far above ground, like an angel should be,
And with sand in between my reddened toes,
I stare high up at her, oh how she glows,
And then I whisper "I love you,"
Then I elevate my heart (oh wow),
