So I had to take these pictures for school based on the theme of 'enclosed'. I'm no photographer (didn't even have a camera til last week :P), but I liked some of them, need some work though.
Yah, I had to force my sister to be in these :P
These are taken in our old wendy shed thing, have to take another lot outdoors tomorrow morning. Like, eeearly tomorrow morning -_- :P

If this is for GCSE, the quality needs to be a hell of a lot better.

I know, the quality sucks.
It's for inspiration for a drawing, the photos themselves don't get examined, thank god :)
It's just to get ideas basically, so no worries :P

Oh right, I see. :P
I think the composition of them are good, and you obviously have a good eye for things (as you can tell by all the other photo's you take).

If it's for a drawing, you'll probably nail it anyways. :)

Hehe, thanks :P
I'm meant to use them for a drawing, and the drawing gets examined as preparatory work for the basis of the actual project which is a painting in the style of a given artist, which for me is Tai Shan Schierenberg (if that makes any sense :P). So the photos are only really for getting forms and ideas and the such.

Yeah I know what you mean. =]
I'm taking GCSE art and the courses we are doing are HORRIBLE and I'm not doing particularly well in them at all. :P
So we do all this planning and preparation with ideas as well, using other pieces in order to form the final piece (if that makes sense). It gets so tedious after a while...and my teacher wants me to take art for A Levels, but I am sooo getting rid of it!!! (I'm very sorry about my ranting/hi-jacking your thread here :P).

i actually really like the first one.
The quality looks cell-phone-ish, but it could also look intentionally if you altered the color a bit.

No worries, hijack away :)
Shame about your course sucking though >.<
Sounds like my art last year, like in the whole school year we only completed 1 piece of work. The piece wasn't even that big, and only took maybe 6 lessons to complete, but it was all the discussing and research and idea development and "lets-talk-about-similar-artists-and-just-unrelated-crap-altogether!" and blaaaahh that made it take so long. And I didn't even like the piece in the end anyways :P
So I get what you mean, although I'm planning on taking A-level art if possible, idk whether I can yet, would depend what other subjects/careerblahblah I'm doing. But generally I love art as a subject, I guess its luck of the draw with regards to the course really.

Teachers have a way with doing that, they'll drag the whole "Analyze this source, along with this, this and this artist and just study, study, study..." for ages - probably because they can't be bothered with the crappy course themselves. ;)

I agree, luck is a huge thing in regards to art. If you really good at one thing, you can be awful at another. We have to do cubism (:( !!!!) and when we do portraits they must be in life-form and observational. I got told to re-do my final piece for sketching a portrait in manga-style D: tis evil!

Oh, that sucks!
We got to choose our style, one girl did cubism but I stayed the hell away... aww, poor Marciiee  :P
And your manga im sure is awesome, silly teachers

I would but my drawings tend to look good in real life but on a computer they look like a child has drawn it. xP

Meh, I'll post anyways, especially for Rachel. :P
And if someone doesn't like it...well FUCK YOU. =]
