i love her. not like a gf but as a sister. she recently lost her other best friend and im her only close friend left.
today, she was upset. came to class late bawling her eyes out. but she wouldnt talk to me. it sucked. i was hurt. and pissed.
she was confiding in people she met a month ago or people she doesnt even like that much.
so i was just doing my work while she tells people her problem...and ignores me.

(she has this thing with popping my balloons when i have them. idk y?)

today i had a balloon, and i was giving it to her for her to pop it and hopefully cheer her up....but NO. she told me that she didnt want to speak to me. in those words.

this past week, shes been a bitch to me. dogging me about doing nothing, and shes just being rude. i thought it was just that certain time.
yea no. it probably is, but...thats no excuse.

By "she lost her best friend" what do you mean? Like, Died?
If that's the case, then just give her more time. I'm sure she'll be back to normal as time passes. Don't worry though, If your her only close friend then she wouldn't want to lose you. Have you tried asking her whats the matter? Why shes avoiding you?

I agree with Matt. Just give her time and she will return to you.
Sometimes its harder to tell the people closest to you your personal feelings. You are doing the same thing right now. You are telling strangers on VT your problem instead of telling your best friend. Be patient and understanding. I know its hurting you but she will always come back to you in the end.
I think it was really sweet when you brought her a balloon. You sound like the kind of friend that everyone needs.
