View Full Version : Shaving?

I was wondering how often or how many people shave their ass hair. I mean, I understand a lot of people trim or shave their pubes, but it's not exactly common to hear of someone grooming the hair around their anus, or just generally on their ass. Has anyone had any experience in this department?
(Also, I tried to think of a word more PC than ass, but really they just sound more hilarious than ass, so I settled)

I've tried, but man is it a pain.
Due to the difficulty (and discomfort! Hair itches when it grows back, my friend) I've taken up a policy similar along the lines of "you only clean up when you're expecting visitors."

Haha, I'm aware that it itches, I've shaved before... just not in that region. I like that policy too, but I'm somewhat of an exhibitionist in that department, so though I may not be getting "visitors", I'm still somewhat exposed haha.

Hm, in that case I guess just do the outside and trim the *ahem* "inner area" enough that you're not... I honestly can't think of a way to not make this sound gross XD
I would shave enough to APPEAR bare without actually have to deal with an itch in your crack for a week. How's that?

Yea, haha, I think I get the basis of what you're saying, thanks. :)

Cool, thanks I'll keep that in mind. :)
I just shaved my shaft and balls today, and it's looking pretty good, so I think a little later I might attempt my ass, :P

i've done it a couple a times and it felt better. no itch. it depends what u use to shave i guess
i use a dry electric shaver, it only itches if you cut your self (no matter how minor).

Nope, never even thought about it. Sounds kinda odd to me.

I agree with the dry electric razor idea. Also try just trimming with a scissor. That is what I do.

Yea, I've tried trimming, but it's incredibly awkward. :S

I mentioned this in the butt hair thread...
i have found that the best way is to get in a hot shower, wash your ass real good, put shaving cream on in the cheeks, squat down and shave it..i also have a mirror right in front of my shower so i will put one leg up on something and that way i can see my whole ass in the mirror when im shaving the cheeks...Usually though I just squat down and feel it out... it sounds complicated but its not..i have done it plenty of times without hurting myself.
Also, i usually smear some aloe on my ass and that prevents the itching for the most part.

Yea, by the sounds of it you're referring to the general ass area, I was kinda hoping for advice on a more specific area, like around the hole.

No, i was referring to inside the cheeks and the actual hole itself...if you put your foot up on the sink you're able to see the hole, but i've gotten to the point where i can just do it by squatting, which gives you the best access to the hole..and then when im done i put aloe on to avoid the itching

No, I don't think that ones for me.

Well I think I may try that then, thanks! Aloe's also a really good idea, I don't know why I didn't think of it.

Solution. I grab and pluck a bunch of hairs at a time regularly, when I am clean. I hate hairy ass holes LOL and it feels a lot cleaner and makes it easier to clean when you wipe.
Kinda gross discussion but cleanliness is ultimate. It looks so much nicer without hair I reacon.

Yea, I shaved it today. Just a regular razor that I ran under hot hot water in between like... strokes, I guess you'd call it? And then I put some aloe vera on the area and it's clean and itch free. :) Looks a lot nicer. Definitely couldn't imagine plucking though, seems like it'd hurt an insane amount.

I did shave and it's working out fine so far. Thanks for the advice though! I did take them all into account, haha. :)

I've got a pretty damn hairy arse, but I've never thought of shaving there... probably never willm to be totally honest.

Yea, some people I'm sure wouldn't consider it, just because it's not much of an issue. I wasn't really referring to the whole of my ass, 'cause that's just exerting FAR too much effort. Shaving your cheeks seems to me to be no different than shaving your legs, it's just kind of weird, and doesn't really lessen the pleasure when it comes to things of a sexual nature, however shaving your pubes, or around the hole of your ass, is a different story, given both can play a role in said sexual situation.

It doesn't cause my any discomfort and it's not like anybody's going to see it so I couldn't really care what it looks like to be honest - but hey, if that's what you want to do then why not.

Shaving doesn't cause any discomfort, or having hair there doesn't cause discomfort? I understand it's my perogative to shave if I wish, and occasionally people do see mine, so I like to kind of keep things under control haha.

I totally live by this rule: Don't shave unless you are expecting visitors.
What is the point of shaving unless anyone is going to see it. Answer: there is no point.

Having hair there doesn't. Well not for me anyway :)

Yea, it's not like it was uncomfortable for me or anything, like it didn't hinder me in any way, I just think shaved looks nicer, is all.

Shouldn't that be the other way around? Generally if you're trimming something, it's because the hair's long enough that you wouldn't be able to just cut it using a razor...
