Question to all bisexuals.

Before you all realized you were a bisexual did you think you were gay??? If so please elaborate on how you came to the conclusion that you were bi, what made you realize it?

No, before I realised I was bi I thought I was straight.

I never thought that I was a lesbian.
I thought I was straight.
I then realised I was bisexual.

Usually the progression is Straight -> Bi -> Gay

with a stop somewhere on that line. I can't think of anyone I know (and I know a lot of em ;) ) who thought they were full-on gay and then took a step back and said they were bi (and stayed that way.)

Some people (myself included on occassion) will jokingly say coming out as bi is sort of the foot in the door, if only because (again, myself included) a lot of those people tend to "re-come out" as gay once people seem to have accepted the bi thing pretty well.

Not to say everyone is the same way. Just seems to be the road most of my male friends went down, heh.

I thought I was straight and curious, but I found out later I wasn't just in a phase. I really liked guys and wanted to be involved with them. I realized that when I was in 8th grade. It was hard to face the facts though because I was scared to be attracted to guys

All my life I thought I was straight, but when I first started pueberty I began to realize that guys were attractive. I brushed it off and 3 years later, I realized I was bi but liked girls more.

Yes, first i was like: I'm str8, 100% sure. After i was like: Am i gay? Becoz i saw alot of hot boys(girls too).. And now i found out i like both :) So i'm bi.
Idd it sound wierd lol and yes bad english :P
