Blood.
Everywhere.
People Screaming, Men and Women, Children and Babies.
I’d Lost Control.
People Died.
Because of Me.

The memory flashed in my mind, it often did after I fed.
Tonight was different, I lost control again, people got hurt.
I had to move, I’m going to California now.
Durham, North Carolina to Bigsur, California is a long drive.
I was going as fast as I could in my Scion tC, hopefully I’ll be able to get far enough away before anyone finds out and calls the police.
Incase you haven’t guessed I’m a vampire; a lot of the myths of vampires you have heard are fake.
We can go in the sun, to long and we get a bad sunburn and eventually we will die but it takes along time.
Garlic and Crucifixes, Useless.
No Blood, we get weaker our skin paler, and our eyes turn violet, instead of the bright red they are after feeding.
I looked in the rear view mirror, my bright red eyes staring back at me, I’d need to pick up more contacts.
My name is Guenivere Edge, I have dark blonde hair, blue eyes thanks to contacts and a tattoo on my neck that says Edge, I’m a normal 18 year old okay so I’m really like 300 years old but that is besides the point.
To hide myself I pretend to be a 16 year old in High School, Sometimes I go into College.
