Ok so i have this huge exam tommorow. It has 200 questions and its worth a shitload of points. The teacher said the rarely anyone finishes her exams and one of the highest grades ever on one is a 92%. The lowest grades were 28% or maby 27%. I only have 1 class period to finish it wich i beleive is 41-45 minutes. I really nervous right now. The funny thing is though i feel like i know alot of the material its just some of the fine details that i dont know. do you guys know any techniques i can use to study and some techniques to use during the test? also im a freshman and i have never really had a BIG exam before like this. I also go to a private college prepatory high school if that helps.

i dont have many strategies rather than what teachers say to use, but my friend answers all questions then actually does it.

Just look over any last minute material the night before, but do not stay up for hours cramming as you will just tire yourself out.
In the exam, read the questions carefully and answer them the best you can, if you can't answer one, don't waste time stuck on it move on to the next one and come back if you have time.
Other than that, just try your best and no one can really ask anything more.

During the exam if your brain goes blank then stop and blink 30 times. This gives you time to remember.
Sometimes you know the answer but you are so stressed the information wont surface so a quick break will help.
I did it and it worked!
The only drawback is that you look odd doing it :P

what kind of test is it? it only gives you 13.5 seconds per question.
for that limited time, don't spend too much time with each question. give yourself 10 seconds at most then move on if you don't know the answer.
if it's multiple choice, you can guess an answer but mark the question so that you can go back to it once you have gone thru all the questions that you know the answer.

Well since you already had the exam its late but here is some advice on handling big tests.
Like sebbie said, when going through the test, answer the questions you know first. If you find yourself spending a lot of time on one question, skip it and go back to it later. Spending a lot of time on one question can take a lot of valuable time away from questions further down the test that you can potentially answer. Once you've done that start on the ones you skipped.
Once you get toward the end of the class period I think its a good investment to take time aside and double check your answers. A few simple careless errors can add up to cost you a letter grade. So even if you aren't 100% done with the test, you still should stop and double check things.
As for studying you need to figure out what works best for you. Everyone has their different ways and you need to just experiment. Exams with a lot of details you need to get a general overview of everything and go in depth with the major points.
Also remember to take notes. Then when you have your notes rewrite them and expand upon them.

Kill the teacher and then youll be ok.
NO DONT LOL it was a joke,
just try your best and dont rush yourself.
If you forget a problem, then draw a picture with your non-dominant hand,
like if ur right handed, draw a picture with ur left hand on a scratch piece of paper, it will help calm you down and it will get your mind to think more clear.
works for me :D
