Hey, I'm 14 and I today found this lump on the top-ish area on my right testicle. It feels like a almost I'd like to say flap of overgrowth and it feels like 2 lumps. Being 14 I would rather not like to die of testicular cancer at this age. Should I tell my dad? And another thing if my dad want's to feel the area to see if he thinks its something to see a doctor about will he find it wierd that I manscape?

Any pain in the testicles is very bad start to cancer, its very rare at younger ages such as 14 but tell your parents! your dad would not feel down there he would take you to the doctors though (your father being male would understand how important it is to take you to the doctor) You shouldnt be embarrassed.

It is actually rare in older people. Testicular cancer is more common in teenage boys so you have to go and get it checked. If you do not feel like telling your dad, just go to the nearest hospital and get it checked out.

It actually depends what cancer, there are some that are more common for older people and rare for younger ones.

Totally agree with the others, get it checked by your doctor ASAP. I cant imagine you dad would want to check for himself, he would realise that would be embarassing for both of you.

For goodness sake tell your dad now and get him to take you to the doctor.

Definitely get it checked out, but if you're experiencing pain, it's probably not cancer. Testicular cancer tends to result in painless lumps.

Although you probably don't have cancer. Teens are the ones who get it most commonly. It is very important that you get it checked out by a doctor. You need to tell your parent(s) but if you don't feel comfortable (I wouldn't) having you father check it out, let him know. Tell him you want to go see a doctor.
