okay so i am 15 years old and every one in my family hates her new boyfriend, he is sortof a nice kid but here is my question
Do you think that it is okay for a 15 year old girl who is a sophomore in high school, to date an 18 year old guy who is a senior in high school? please feel free to comment on anything i know im being nosy but i care about her

ya i think its fine. one of my friends was dating a senior and she was a sophomore. (i mena he ended dumping her, but hes a womanizer so wutev)...but i mean...its not too bad...hes not much older.

Most relationships nowdays are where one partner is older than the other, but of you feel she may get hurt by him because he's older, you're going to talk to her about it. If the couple are in love than the age is but a number and shouldn't make a difference. Although they will be fine, they love each other right?

its legal so its fine ... if he was like 20 and she was under 18 that would be against the law

u know...ur parents i think have a right to think it that way... :( sorry...
but the truth is...something i learnt d hard way...the guys generaly take up girls younger den dem becoz d girls r more vunerable..n no matter what d guy says n behaves...she ends up worshiping him...becoz dey r kinda novice n all...

something my parents used to tell me wen i dated a guy 4-5yrs elder to me..dat had he been cool enuf..he wud have found a girl in his age group...kz den dey wud haf u kno more things to talk abt...to discuss about..but becoz he aint dat good dats y he has to hook to some1 hus way much younger,,,,

n i dint take der advice dat way....n d boi indeed ws upto mischief..he wsnt of any good though :(

BUT if u think d guy realy loves ur cousin..n its soley not based on being physical n all...den d matter is difrnt...

My friend nicole dated a senior in high school as a freshie. hes now a freshie in college and shes a sophomore

Of course it's o.k. Would you be 'grossed out' if you saw (for example) a 25 and a 28 year old dating? Of course not. It's such a minor difference. the only reason it's magnified is because you're in high school. When I was a freshman I dated a senior (I was 15 and she was 18) Who cares?
