My Stepdad and my Mom...

I can't even believe it. My stepdad spent $250 dollars on probably Weed and wrote his dealer a check and my mom knows about it. Right now she is crying the kitchen and if he confirms he bought weed, she will file for divorce. I can't believe he would spend $250 on f***ing WEED! WE NEED THAT MONEY FOR OUR FAMILY! WE ARE IN TERRIBLE FINANCIAL DEBT BUT HE REFUSES TO QUIT!

This irresponsible and outrageous. I can't believe it. It makes me depressed and my Mom is vitally depressed and all he cares about is f***ing weed. He has had two children with her and has four step children with her. I don't know how to take this all in... can someone give me some advice.

well i would file for a divorce too .. but is this the first time that he would spend an outrageous amount of money on weed ... because if it is he should deserve another chance .. but if he continues then the divorce is a good idea, to help with your depression id write about it ... thats what helps me, a good poem .. but if you dont like writing you could always listen to music that revolves a bit around your situation, and still if that doesnt work for you, the last thing that could resolve you depression is to find something that you like and just keep doing it, i dont have much to say on what you can do about your family dilema or your financial problems, just do good in school,
weed is hated a lot but the true nature of it ,,, is to relax or resolve stress, do you know the exact reason that your Stepdad uses weed ???? if you do can you please tell me, maybe i could see if he uses for the hell of it or if theres an actual reason..

No it isn't the first time. He's been smoking it ever since he was really young.. I just find it all disgusting. Especially whats happening now and whats happened to me with it in the past.

Well I guess he's adicted to it and that makes it not so easy to stop. That doesnt make it any better or easier for you and I would be angry too in your situation. It is also very irresponsible to do that stuff with kids around, but sadly not uncommon.

He is dumb... And he told my mom to stop "Overexageratting" he says and then says he has money for next week... which no one believes.

Well if he's buying in bulk, then he's saving money rather than just buying 20 dollar bags at a time. That much will last him at least a month or two unless he smokes all the time.

But, I agree that he shouldn't be spending a lot of money on weed if you guys are in bad debt.

well i dont think divorce is very logical, when they got married they said for better AND for worse, if he has a problem, you need to get through it as a family, not just ditch him.
