like if you love eating candy you may get a urge to do it as in a feeling rushing you to do it or you have to get to a urgent meeting as in important like something important you have to do so i guess urge is something important you have to do now!

If people are speaking of urges, they tend to be referring to urges of a sexual nature.
An urge is just an overwhelming want to do something. For instance, if someone says they have an urge to have sex, then they're saying they feel compelled to have sex, or feel as though they need or desperately want to.
